The first leg of the trip was 14 hours from Brisbane to Dubai. The Emirates flight was comfortable enough although when I looked at the time remaining and we had travelled for seven hours and had a further seven to go to get to Dubai I started to feel desperate. Downton Abby Series 4 saved the day for me!
From Dubai to Stockholm was a further seven hours...we arrived in Stockholm at lunchtime, were swiftly dealt with through immigration, our luggage already circling on the luggage conveyor and before we knew it we were on an express train to Stockholm, It all happened like clockwork, with such ease, and our friends Sylvia and Jacob met us at the other end.
Each apartment block has a small apartment for guests to stay in at a nominal rent and we are staying in a one bedroom one of these which is so charming. We have a bedroom, bathroom, tiny kitchenette and plenty of storage as well - this is compact living at its best! Sylvia and Jacob wined and dined us and then we walked to our small apartment 4 mins away and promptly fell asleep.
We are staying in Nacka approx 6km from Stockholm and have every facility you could possibly imagine at our fingertips.
